From Where I Sit

Conversations with neighbors, in their own words

Everyone sees home from a different chair. From Where I Sit is a series of conversations with the people who make our corner of Georgia feel like home: the shop owner who remembers your name, the teacher who stays late, the neighbor whose porch light is always on. I pour the coffee, ask a few questions, and mostly listen. Their stories, in their own words.

Coming soon: a conversation with Amber Jones

Every neighbor carries a story that rarely gets told out loud. It's usually about a turning point, and about the people who showed up when it mattered most.

Next on From Where I Sit, I'm talking with my Woodstock neighbor Amber Jones about hers. Along the way you'll meet Serenade Heights, a Woodstock nonprofit that gives single moms and their children a safe place to live, with coaching and mentoring while they build what comes next.

It's almost ready. Sign up for The Porch Light below and it'll find you first. It's one letter a month with a good story and a few things happening around here. No noise, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

Know someone whose story should be told? I'd love to hear about them at info@gathering-grace.com.
